Emad Burnat is a Palestinian cameraman who decides to film the struggle against the wall in his village. Throughout the years he documents the strikes on his personal life due to the punishment actions of the Israeli army side to side to documenting his younger son growing. One Camera after another is damaged and replaced, each has its story. His story is a story of resistance.
19/12/2009 : Night raid
For the second night in a row the IDF has invaded the village of Bilin. Tonight the military surrounded and entered two houses, forcing the families outside while they conducted their search. The houses that were targeted are familiar ones and are commonly harassed by the Israeli military. Questions for information were asked but no arrests were made.
18/12/2009 : Night raid, no one was arrested
Tonight the armed forces of the IDF entered the village of Bi’lin for the first night raid in over 1 month. Around 30 soldiers struck at the international and media house clearly showing Israel’s determination to shut down the coverage on their occupation and apartheid. After dragging all international out of their houses and into the night rain they checked their passports and searched the house for item. Nothing was found and nothing was confiscated. After 1 hour the soldiers left in two separate groups, some in armored cars and others who left on foot into the night.
