Bil’in popular committee
At around 4am soldiers from the Israeli Occupation Army stormed the village of Bil’in by foot. They abducted the young (Suleiman SIF), aged 16 years, from his home and dragged him to an unknown destination. Their raid is part of a broad campaign over the last two weeks by the army to strike terror on the village of Bil’in. It is meant to stop the people of Bil’in from continuing their attempts at peaceful resistance at a time when a major court case in Canada is pending against the nearby settlements. It is another case of collective punishment and fear from the Israeli government that the Bil’in resistance is achieving results.
